The M/V CANADA SEA
The M/V CANADA SEA was built in 1990 at Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. The vessel is of fiberglass construction, forty feet long and fifteen feet six inches wide and draws five feet of water. It is equipped with a two hundred horse power, Perkins diesel engine, giving it a maximum speed of 9.5 knots, consuming five gallons of fuel an hour and a continuous endurance of about four days.
It is certified by Transport Canada, to carry 20 day passengers up to 25 miles offshore and has a cargo hold, capable of carrying fourteen tons of cargo or equipment. There are sleeping berths for four persons and a galley that can provide meals for eight persons.
